Rectangular selections in a text_buffer are displayed with the selection mis-aligned on lines that are blank, or do not fully span the selection region. Attached code sample demonstrates this as simply as I can manage. Effect appears in a similar fashion on OSX, linux and Win32.

Assigning to 2.0. I think this will require significant code changes to get this right, as the original Nedit code didn't deal with antialiasing and was replaced...
