When a window is closed, the clipboard contents that originated from that window appear to vanish with it. This does not allow copy paste different between dialogs when the first dialog is closed (even within the same application).

The behavior can be easily reproduced using FLUID:

1. Open a widget property dialog
2. Select text from a text widget and press ctrl+c
3. Close the dialog
4. Open another widget property dialog and focus on a text widget
5. pressing ctrl+v does not paste the original text

I'm not sure if it's OS dependent. I found this behavior on WIN32, using VC++ 6.0.
