Check box contents not visible on Linux Mate desktop when gtk+ scheme is selected.  Selecting either base or plastic reveals the check box attribute.

Reduced priority to 3 (moderate).

This issue should not block the release of FLTK 1.3.5.

Please see GitHub Issue #443 for a fix. This is not yet in Git and will likely be modified but it's a solution for this STR.

Also fixed in branch-1.3, commit 84c9432d2a47edff7e7d0111df70b46c577eb463, which will be included in FLTK release 1.3.9.

Commit 9950c8e082c55dd1e3cd9311446a75b3c047eae3 fixed the issue for 1.4.0.
