| Gtk and Qt provide functions to set a system tray icon, FLTK doesn't. There's a specification for X11 systems: https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/systemtray-spec/ An FLTK wrapper function for this would also be useful as you don't need to write different code for Windows, Mac and X11. | |

| System tray icons using the legacy X11 systemtray-spec don't seem to be supported by most modern DEs. You're supposed to use libappindicator or similar libraries. | |
