@jinjin-Helen The answer is "yes", but with some restrictions and only for selected multi-touch gestures. There is already work in progress (investigation of basic functionality) that should make it into FLTK 1.4.0 as a working solution. However, 1.3.x will not be updated.
(Multi-)Touch support will be implemented as far as possible across platforms:
- Windows, macOS: very likely "full" support (as far as possible and feasible)
- Linux/Unix + X11: there are currently no plans because we don't know how to do it
- Linux/Unix + Wayland: maybe (needs investigation)
It is possible that FLTK 1.4.0 will have only partial support that will be extended in a later version (1.4.x).
Note: I renamed the subject of this issue. Please ask questions concerning FLTK development in one of our Google Groups fltk.general or fltk.coredev. Please see also "Reporting Bugs". Thanks.
