In windows, the configurations are Release, ReleaseMinSize, Debug and DebugCairo.

Arc requires cairo.lib in Release mode. I suggest adding a ReleaseCairo option and leaving Release with no dependencies on cairo, following Debug.

Which project files and which software version (i.e. which version of Visual Studio) did you use? There are at least two MS VS project dirs: ide/vcnet and ide/visualc. The best (and maybe only) maintained one is probably ide/vcnet.

And also, which exact version of FLTK 2 (snapshot, svn) did you use?

Finally, please note that FLTK 2 is currently not being maintained actively, but thanks for the report anyway.

I am using VC 2008. My comment refers to me using ide/vcnet.

I meant Visual Studio, not VC. Sorry
