OT: ... the absurd (current) situation being: if you start a "hybrid" Wayland/x11 GUI program (FLTK, Qt, ... more?) as root Wayland refuses to start and you get an even less secure X11 version running. Tested for instance with gedit and some more apps.
I understand that this is a "temporary" effect until all systems are delivered w/o X11. ;-)
