Much appreciated! I'm actually coming from the Rust binding, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with the C++ code.
Setting Fl_Tree::item_draw_mode()'s FL_TREE_ITEM_DRAW_LABEL_AND_WIDGET flag
causes the label + widget to be displayed together in that order ...
Maybe this flag helps? Note that I didn't check the code details.
That flag makes no difference in this context.
