Looks like the relevant part:

[...] 0 shall be returned indicating the end of the directory was reached without any directory entries being placed in buf. Otherwise, -1 shall be returned and errno shall be set to indicate the error.

will not be different, compared to readdir(). ENOENT is an error condition with different meaning, compared to "end of directory".
