Slightly OT:
The new actions thing is neat; so that's our new build checker? Nice! The little check marks next to the commits are a good way to see if things worked or not.
Yep, that's what it's intended for. See @ManoloFLTK's latest commits (Manolo, did you notice? [1]) where the Linux build failed. Manolo seems to be still working on it, hence I hesitate to look for a fix.
We had this feature already with Travis-CI (until about Nov. 2020 when they decided to limit access), but at that time we had only Linux + macOS (no Windows builds). The marks and the way to access the logs were the same. If the new GitHub Actions stuff works stable I think it's better than Travis-CI for our project.
BTW: you can also look at our GitLab mirror which does also CI builds, but less frequently (max 1 per hour after the mirror update if there were changes). This one is also building our docs on GitLab.
