@wcout Interesting, thanks for the suggestion. Did you test it? (I assume yes, but I'm asking anyway).

The problem I'm seeing with such an additional fl_line_style flag would be that you (i.e. user code!) would have to set it before you're drawing grids and/or lines that should be "fixed width" but you'd have to reset it afterwards because filling boxes with gradients etc. wouldn't work otherwise. I'm also not sure that this patch would work for all line widths and scaling factors. But I'm only looking at the patch above so I don't really know.

This is a question @ManoloFLTK could probably answer better.
