Yes, I am stil using version 1.3.4. I was so busy with other problems. I
will update next weekend.

The patch seem to work so far. I can now print my collection of some
Unicode symbols.

If i understand the patch right, it only changes the size of the offscreen
buffer and not the tabwidth? I am asking because ma greek letter table is
misaligned (most probably my bug).

Since I am not at home this evening, I will do some more test on my
notebook tomorrow.
