I have just confirmed that my change also fixes another problem I've been having:

    fl_filename_absolute(buff, sizeof(buff), "E:\\temp\\log\\log.txt");
    assert(!strcmp(buff, "E:\\temp\\log\\log.txt"));

Before my fix, the results would be: "E:/temp/E:\temp\log\log.txt".
