Description: | Mplot++ is a math plotter similar to Gnuplot. Mplot++ is not as powerfull as Gnuplot, because it can only display up to 10 functions in bidimensional graphic, and only one curve or surface at time in tridimensional graphic. Moreover, it can use only a limited number of nodes.
However, Mplot++ has some interesting features:
- You can move at once the figures of a bi- or tri-dimensional graphic;
- You can change the point of view of the observer in a tridimensional scene;
- You can use a fog effect to improve the look of a figure in a 3D graph;
- You can export easily a graph in the form of Postscript(R) document.
At last, Mplot++ comes with a very complete user guide and it is very intuitive. |

The links are dead. Maybe the author can post new links if the project is still alive

I tried to install mplot++0.84, but when I run the configure script, I get the error
checking for getns in -lxxcc... no
configure: error: libxxcc not found
What library is libxxcc? Where can I get it? I am using fltk-1.1.4
Thanks.

You can get the source archive of the XXCalc library from the
same location where you have found the source archive of Mplot++
(i.e. ftp://ftp.mat.uniroma1.it/public/primi).

In fact libxxcc is the system's name of the XXCalc library.

I have just found out that i have forgotten to tell, in the INSTALL file of the source distribution of Mplot++, that Mplot++ requires the XXCalc
library (version 1.0.2) to be compiled. This library is another creation
of mine, released under LGPL, and can be found in the same location of
the source file of Mplot++. I am very sorry for this forgetfulness.

I do not know, since I always manage to reach the software, so
I cannot say the link is broken (it is still alive).
But my web browser is Mozilla, could it depend on the web browser ?
Have you tried more times than once ? You have to know that sometimes
I have problems to reach the FLTK home page and I must try many
times before my web browser manages to find it.
