Article #1750: FLTK 1.3.6 RC1 - Known Issues and Fixes

Thanks to all who tested FLTK 1.3.6 RC1.

The following known issues will be fixed in FLTK 1.3.6 RC2, scheduled one week after the release of 1.3.6rc1 or even earlier.

To prevent further error messages and enable users to test, please see the following issues and fixes.

Issue #1: On some (likely only case insensitive) file systems (for instance on macOS and Windows) the file 'VERSION' in the FLTK root directory may be included erroneously by system headers or if user code uses '#include <version>' for some reason.

Solution: Please rename 'VERSION' to 'fltk_version.dat' and try the build again.

This issue is fixed in git commit 5f645dda79104361a159be1c13ddd7aafd4ed9f2
