| In fluid's File -> New dialog, there's a templates dialog, but no indication of what it is. "Blank" is the only option, doesn't show how to create them or have help (tooltips or otherwise).
The fluid docs don't mention this either.
I take it the way it works is you can create a fluid file, and then save it as a template.. a 'starting point' for creating a new app. This gets saved as a .fl file in the user's home directory, e.g. $HOME/.fltk/fltk.org/fluid/templates/<template_name>.fl ..where it shows up as an option in the File->New dialog.
When chosen in the New dialog, that template fluid file is loaded.
Apparently also, a screenshot of the UI is saved in that /templates/ directory as well, as <template_name>.png . Not sure how it's used, but perhaps the intention is it would be shown as a thumbnail in the New browser?
Anyway, this should be investigated and properly documented.
I'm attaching a sample template that might be useful

| Actually, instead of attaching a sample .fl file, see related STR#3336 which already has such an example. | |

| Fixed in Git repository.
I added some docs and reorganized the main menu to make the feature a little less prominent. Also, when run for the first time, this will add a sample template.
