| I've gotten a report ( http://bugs.debian.org/226014 ) that users of FLTK-based apps can end up creating but not populating ~/.fltk/fltk.org/. The underlying issue seems to be that Fl_Preferences::RootNode calls makePathForFile in its constructors, rather than waiting for an actual invocation of write. (read does not need to call MPFF, since it'll still fail to open the actual file....)

| I've also modified the the getUserdataPath() method to create the directory, since applications that create temporary files may use this function and expect that the directory exists... :) | |
