| autotools configure is very verbose. Often too much to see at a glance
the essentials.
The attached patch provides a short summary at the end of a
configure run. The modified file is configure.in | |

I've implemented a summary with a different output format and method than your patch (one that uses the results of the tests instead of setting a separate set of variables...) | |
