Hard to say for sure without seeing more of your code, or how you are building/linking it, I suspect. 

However, there haven't been a lot (any?) reports of others seeing that issue, AFAIK.

Are you using the DLL build? Do you *need* to use the DLL, or could you try static linking?

FWIW, I never see this error myself; but then again I almost always static link fltk, so wouldn't expect to see DLL related issues anyway.
